Since 1934 successful of tradition and innovation
The delightfully-situated boat harbour of Gottlieben is the home of the shipyard founded by Wilhelm Krüger (1905-1953) in 1934. The young Kruger arrived in 1925 from the north of Germany and put his training as shipwright and boat builder to good use. His extraordinary craftsmanship won over his first Swiss customers.
His son Wilhelm (1939-2011) followed in his father's footstep at a very early age and
eventually took over the shipyard. He expanded the operations of the company and successfully introduced new technologies.
Today, Markus Krüger steers the company in the third generation. Being a fully trained boat builder and businessman, he continues to develop Krüger Werft AG as a going concern, without sacrificing carefully maintained traditions.
This lasting success is possible thanks to the high level of experience and knowledge within the company. All members of the team are superbly trained and long-term employees who guarantee reliable workmanship and superior service.
